A powerful new contender has taken over Philippine primetime as “Beauty Empire,” a collaboration among GMA Network, Viu Philippines and CreaZion Studios, led ratings during its pilot week, outperforming rival shows.

According to Nielsen TV ratings from July 7 to 10, the GMA Public Affairs drama topped viewership in both Total Philippines and Urban Philippines. It averaged a 4% combined people rating nationwide (2.8 million viewers), beating “Sins of the Father” (3%) and “Unchained Love” (1%).

In Urban Philippines, “Beauty Empire” scored a 4.4% average rating (1.9 million viewers), again leading over “Sins of the Father” (3.2%) and “Unchained Love” (1.1%). It also became the No. 1 show on Viu Philippines during its TV debut week.

Starring Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, and Ruffa Gutierrez, the revenge drama explores the high-stakes world of the beauty industry and challenges traditional standards. Created by Real Florido and Rona Co, and directed by Mark Sicat Dela Cruz, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Prime and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV.
