Actress Bea Alonzo filed three separate cyber libel cases at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office yesterday against showbiz reporters Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz, along with their co-hosts Romel Chika, Wendell Alvarez, Loi Villarama, Ate Mrena, Tita Jegs, and Dyosa Pockoh in their respective online shows.
The cyber libel case revolves around alleged defamatory statements made against Bea Alonzo on Fermin and Diaz’ respective online shows. These include accusations of tax evasion and other damaging remarks.
According to a social media post by GMA 7 host and reporter Nelson Canlas, Alonzo filed three separate criminal cases for cyber libel against the hosts and an online basher who is posiong as someone close to her. The complaint affidavit details instances where Bea was subjected to false and damaging information without basis, which were then discussed on the defendants’ online platforms.
Bea was with her lawyer, Atty. Joey Garcia, and her manager, Shirley Kuan in the filing of the legal proceedings. (Reggee Bonoan)
