There was a shower of blessings as over four hundred guests braved the rains and floods to witness the exchange of “I do’s” of actor-politician Arjo Atayde and host-actress Maine Mendoza in Baguio last Friday, July 28.

A visibly emotional Rep. Arjo Atayde (Quezon City, first district) thanked the guests for their effort to attend the star-studded wedding, which also included Kristine Hermosa, MJ Lastimosa, Sheena Halili, Ciara Sorro and Maja Salvador in the entourage.
Maja, who is one of Maine’s bridesmaids, is herself tying the knot with Rambo Nuñez Ortega today, July 31, in Bali, Indonesia. Before they start their honeymoon, Maine and Arjo reportedly flew to Indonesia to attend Maja and Rambo’s wedding.
Arjo and Maine wed exactly one year after they got engaged on July 28 last year – and ten years after Maine tweeted “Arjo cutie,” a move that said “manifested” her future with the rookie legislator.
