Actor, gamer and producer Alden Richards is excited to his partnership with Vic del Rosario Jr. and Vincent Del Rosario III of the Viva Group of Companies.

Alden’s Myriad Entertainment is poised to expand its reach through this collaboration with Viva Group, which is known for its accomplishments in film, music, live events and the food industry. This partnership is set to bring a comprehensive lifestyle approach that extends far beyond entertainment.

Alden felt everything fell in their proper place for the tie-up, saying it was “swabe lang.” At contract signing last Thursday with Vic del Rosario Jr. and Vic del Rosario III of the Viva Group of Companies, the actor expressed his admiration for the two men.

“I consider them my mentors right now. I’m just so grateful and I’m just so blessed with the opportunity that Viva has given my company and me … as an actor because I am empowered with these kinds of partnerships,” he said.

Alden also acknowledged the importance of Viva in the Philippine showbiz industry, calling it “one of the pillars” not only in entertainment but in various fields as well.

Dealing with Alden was a breeze, said Viva Group chairman and CEO Vic del Rosario, Jr.

“Malawak ang aming samahan. He has the vision. ‘Yung vision nya at aming vision, pareho. Masarap ka-partner, hindi matanong. Basta’t napag-usapan, sarado na,” said del Rosario.

“Ang Viva Foods puro foreign brands, naghahanap ako ng masarap na Filipino food na restaurant. Nag-usap kami ni Alden, sabi niya, ‘Meron na ako.’ So, sabi ko, ‘Punta tayo, matikman natin ang pagkain.’ When we went there, napakasarap. Actually, hindi pa dapat i-announce pero excited na kami magsama… You will see that all over the Philippines.”

Vincent, meanwhile, revealed the multi-hypenate Alden is set to wear another hat. “…Makikita nyo magaling na director soon. I think si Alden hindi mauubusan ng hypen sa description sa kanya dahil patuloy nya nire-reinvent ang sarili nya. Isa syang inspiration sa mga batang artista,” said Vincent.

The collaboration will initially focus on film production. Myriad Entertainment and Viva Films will target the creation of two high-profile OTT films per year. Kicking off this partnership is “Out of Order,” a Netflix original with Alden and Heaven Peralejo, and the Filipino adaptation of the Thai supernatural film Pee-Mak, which will star Julia Barretto.

In addition to film, Myriad will co-produce live events with VAA Live, the live events arm of Viva. The first major project under this collaboration will be Alden’s fourth major solo concert, with additional concert co-productions featuring Viva’s esteemed roster of performers from Viva Records.

Music will also play a significant role in this venture. Alden Richards will produce an album with Viva Records, which will feature original songs that showcase his musical talent and vision.

Furthermore, Myriad Entertainment will elevate the profile of Conchas, the garden café co-managed by Alden since 2016. Conchas will join Viva Foods’ impressive portfolio of franchise brands, which includes Botejyu, Wing Zone, Paper Moon, Pepi Cubano, Yogorino and Greyhound Café.

So how rich is Alden now?

The 33-year-old turned coy when asked about his net worth.

“Nagiging thing lately ‘yung pagtatanong tungkol sa net worth pero I invoke my right against self incrimination,” he joked.

“Hindi naman po ako ganung klaseng tao na sinasabi or pinagkakalat kung ano man po ‘yung naipundar ko. It’s for them to decide and … discover pero hindi ko po talaga siya i-di-disclose.”
