Vivamax star Arah Alonzo might be bold and brazen on screen, but she reverts to her shy self when asked who she wants to work with, now that she has entered showbiz after signing a five-year contract with Viva.

“Si Alden Richards po, feeling ko bagay kami, joke,” she replied, giggling, “Ang galing kasi niyang umakting. Feeling ko marami akong matutunan sa kanya.”
The kilig goes into overdrive when asked if the 22-year-old would agree to make a sexy movie with her crush?
“Pwede, depende,” she said, still giggling.
“Pag-iisipan ko, joke po, sana. ‘Hello Alden,’” she added.
Arah said contrary to what people think, she is in fact a shy girl. And the actual type of movie she wants to do is action. When she was brought by her manager Jojo Veloso to the Viva office and was immediately signed up by big boss Vic del Rosario to a five-year contract, she had to check herself if she really had the guts to bare.
With her background in theater and having joined some pageants, she then decided she really wants to take the path, and thus, she took the plunged and starred in six movies, the latest of which is “Stag,” under director-writer Jon Red and also starring Gold Aceron, Denise Esteban, Aerol Carmelo, Allan Paule, Yda Manzano and Jaime Fabregas.
It is in “Stag” that she does her most daring scenes to date. At the recent press con of the movie at Viva Cafe in Cubao, Arah revealed through all caution to the wind, appearing in dishabille in her sex scene with Gold, who plays her boyfriend. If it were another co-star, it would have been different, as she said she still has limitations when it comes to nudity.
“Hindi ako nagpapahawak ng boobs. Pero depende pa rin sa situation. Nag-a-ask din kasi ang mga co-artist ko kung hanggang saan ang limitations ko. Pero minsan kasi kapag gusto kong maging makatotohanan ang movie, para mas gumanda talaga, okey na rin may tiwala kasi ako sa mga co-artist ko. And madali gawin ang mga ganoong bagay kapag kampante ka at kaibigan mo na ang mga katrabaho mo,” Arah explained.
She added that she also appreciated that writer-director Jon Red was very collaborative and cool.
Filmmaker Jon Red said “Stag” is a surreal, sexy thriller and is meant to represent a microcosm of the world.
The movie revolves around an unforgettable night of intrigues and mystery. Leon (Gold) has been in a stable with Ara (Arah) for the longest time. But the two haven’t tied the knot, and Leon still has no plans of committing to his girlfriend, this has been an issue, not only for the two of them but also for their close friends and relatives.
Meanwhile, Leon’s best friend, Carl (Aerol), is getting married, and Leon and their group of friends prepare a stag party for him. On the way to the party, Leon gets lost and crashes his car in a remote area. Out of nowhere, a girl named Lara (Denise) comes to help Leon and invites him to their mansion to pass the time while his car is getting fixed by a mechanic. Leon meets the rest of Lara’s family, and they serve Leon delicious home-cooked meals and good wine. But despite their hospitality, there’s something very odd with their whole family.
Leon spends the night at the mansion, and in his sleep, he dreams about Ara and him doing their sensual and wildest fantasies to each other, but as he wakes up, Leon is shocked to see Lara making a move at him. Unknown to Leon, this is only one of the many bizarre and unsettling things that will happen to him inside that strange and eerie mansion.
“Stag” is now streaming on Vivamax.
