December may yet be a good six months away, but Zanjoe Marudo reportedly desperately wants to have a girlfriend because he wants his Christmas to be, well, ultra happy.
“Ang tagal na rin nga niya kasing loveless that some might think he still holds a torch for his ex,” said someone close to him.
But Zanjoe would rather not talk about his past. For one thing, he has a new project, “The Broken Marriage Vow,” with two most interesting leading ladies, Jodi Santamaria and Sue Ramirez.
Zanjoe said he is excited to work with them.
Unlike Zanjoe, the two ladies are in relationships. Jodi is with “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” mainstay Raymart Santiago, while Sue Ramirez is with Javi Benitez.
Sue says she and boyfriend Javi Benitez are well matched. Javi is said to be preparing to run for a political office in his home province, Negros Occidental.

Former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista is reprising his role in the hit movie, “Puto,” on the small screen.
Bistek’s Puto now has a grown son, Uno, in a new TV5 series to premiere on June 19.
When he was asked at the Zoom press con on Wednesday to name two actresses he wants to give “puto” to, Bistek said: “Bea Alonzo and Denise Laurel.”
He did not elaborate on his reasons though.
At the press con, he said the series will show the Puto now, thirty-four years after the movie was shown.
“Hindi siya malayo [from the original movie] but ‘yung flavor is different,” said the former mayor. “Maraming mga pangyayaring featured in the original ‘Puto’ na uso pa rin ngayon.”
The series is directed by Raynier Brizuela, who was not even born yet when the original “Puto” was released in 1987.
Playing Puto’s son is McCoy de Leon, who was born February 20, 1995.
McCoy is a member of the all-boy dance group, Hashtags, which used to regularly perform in “It’s Showtime.”

According to a separate source, Ate Vi’s political supporters are not losing hope that she will still be convinced to run for vice president next year.
“Sure winner nga daw kasi siya, if ever. Kahit pa raw kumandidato si Presidente Digong Duterte for the same position.”
Ate Vi’s husband, Senator Ralph Recto, on the other hand, remains quiet about his plans.
He is on his second term as senator.

She will reportedly star in a musical series with “Asia’s Romantic Balladeer” Christian Bautista.
The musical series, “Still,” shall also star Bituin Escalante and Gab Pangilinan and feature Abe Autea, Lance Reblando, Mike Shimamoto, and Gabby Padilla.
