More and celebrities are venturing into the food business. The latest is singer-actress Arci Muñoz.
“Restaurant lang muna ang itinayo ko,” she said, “At hindi ako chef, as I’m not into cooking, but I personally tend to the business.”
Her restaurant, Yoshi-Meat-Su, is located in Greenhills. It serves Japanese and Korean dishes, Arci’s favorites.
The restaurant already has regular patrons.
“Kasi, in fairness, masarap ang food, bukod pa sa affordable,” she said.
Arci currently has no showbiz assignment. She was in “Pamilya Ko” with Sylvia Sanchez, Joey Marquez, JM de Guzman and Kiko Estrada, among others, when ABS-CBN had to close shop, as congress did not approve its application to for franchise renewal.
“Ang sakit noon, ha,” Arci related. “Suddenly, ang dami naming nawalan ng trabaho.”
Since she used to be the vocalist of Philia, some are encouraging her to have bands perform in her restaurant.
“Tingnan natin,” said Arci, “As it is, parang ‘di pa tama dahil mayroon pang pandemic.”
