Rocco Nacino has been added to the cast of the well-followed GMA series, “Owe My Love,” starring Benjamin Alves and Lovi Poe.
Rocco plays a doctor, like Benjamin, however Rocco outranks Benjamin. A rivalry of sorts between the two doctors will transpire as they vie for the affection for Lovi.
“As it is,” said a follower of the series, “nagseselos na si Miguel (the character played by Benjamin) kay Rocco. May lihim kasi siyang pag-ibig kay Sensen (Lovi), na ‘di naman niya maibulalas.”
“Owe My Love” also stars Leo Martinez as Lolo Badong, Benjamin’s grandfather afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease, and Winwyn Marquez, who plays Benjamin’s former girlfriend who is still in love with him. Comediennes Ai Ai de las Alas, Nova Villa, Ruby Rodriguez, Kiray Celis are also in the series. Jackie Lou Blanco and Ryan Eigenmann are also in the rom-com.
Mahal — remember her? — plays Jackie Lou’s personal assistant. The diminutive star is still married to her husband, with whom she tied the knot in 2015. Her real name is Noemi Tesorero and she is 44 years old. She has her own Tiktok account.

Ara Mina is tying the knot with her fiancé Dave Almarinez before the year ends.
While preparing for her wedding, Ara continues to be busy with her career. She helped promote her movie, “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Pornstar,” by director Darryl Yap and streamed on Viva Max.
Dave seems to be a very understanding guy. He readily agreed to Ara’s decision to have her six-year-old daughter, Amanda Gabrielle Meneses, accompany her to the altar.
As he reasoned, their wedding day is more of Ara’s event.
“Sapat na daw sa kanya na after the wedding, misis na niya si Ara,” a kibitzer said.
Dave is a businessman. He is the president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC).
“But more than this, mahal niya ako at pakakasalan,” said Ara. “At higit sa lahat, mahal niya si Mandy (her daughter).
“Mabait at understanding din siya. I thank God, I found him.”

The actress said the late OPM icon helped her enter showbiz.
Yam Concepcion was teary-eyed when she mentioned the name of the late singer-entrepreneur, Claire de la Fuente, at the Zoom press con of her new series, “Init sa Magdamag.”
Yam revealed that the late Claire had a hand in her entering showbiz.
“Dati, drummer ako ng isang banda. Ipinatawag niya ako. Nag-uusap kami. And that was that,” Yam recalled.
Meanwhile, the actress has nothing but good words for her leading men, JM de Guzman and Gerald Anderson. “Pareho silang mabait,” she said. “Parehong magaling na artista kaya whenever I report to the set, I make sure I’m prepared for my scenes. And somehow, when I saw the teaser of the series, nagandahan ako. I’m sure, viewers will also like it.”
“Init sa Magdamag” will start airing this Monday, April 19, at the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and TV5.

Gabby Concepcion reveals he finds his “First Yaya” leading lady, Sanya Lopez, a fine actress.
“At higit sa lahat, wala siyang kiyeme. She does everything our director tells her to,” he said. “As long as alam niyang sa ikakabuti ito ng series.”
For Gabby, it obviously no longer matters that Sanya was not the original choice for the role but Marian Rivera.
He said that when he first worked with Sanya, he had no idea who she was. “Pero ngayon, I would gladly work with her again,” Gabby said.
For her second assignment, Sanya will be working with Senator Bong Revilla. She will play Senator Bong’s leading lady in GMA’s fantasy series, “Agimat ng Agila.”
