Good to hear that Janno Gibbs, whom we’ve not seen in a while, is back on screen playing a sexy role in Vivamax’s “69 +1.”
Described by its director, Darryl Yap as “naughty,” “69+1” stars Janno with Maui Taylor and Rose Van Ginkel, who created a stir in “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Pornstar,” also directed by Yap.
Janno, 51, belongs to a family of actors. His dad is Ronaldo Valdez (real name: Ronald Gibbs), who has appeared in a number of movies as Susan Roces’ leading man.
“His uncle is National Artist for Cinema Gerry de Leon, who is considered as one of Philippines’ most brilliant directors,” a kibitzer remarked.
Janno is married to actress Bing Loyzaga, with whom he has two daughters, Alyssa and Gab, who are now both professionals.

So, how was Janno in “69+1”?
Someone from Yap’s staff said, “Well, more than what was expected. Kumbaga, ‘gib na gib’ (bigay na bigay).”
Janno’s next project for Viva is “Mang Jose,” based on the song of Parokya Ni Edgar.

No matter how intimate the celebration was, it was, no doubt, very memorable. The couple have been engaged for two years and were supposed to wed last November.
Talks have it that they will have a Christian wedding. But the couple’s priority now is to have a baby.

Ex screens partners Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo, now both married with children, were both a bit terrified when they agreed to team up in the romantic-comedy series, “Hoy, Love You.”
But, as Joross, said: “Our producer probably saw na may potential pa rin ang aming tandem. Otherwise, bakit nila ito susugalan?”
The producer (Linggit Tan-Marasigan) and staff’s only advice to them was to be good in their roles. And the promotion will take care of the rest.
Now their series is on its second season. And they have only promised to do better.
Ritz Azul, Hanna Cabral and Lou Veloso have been added to the cast. Theodore Boborol remains the director.

Joross’ wife, the former Kimberly Saga, is just too happy for the actor and Roxanne.

The “Agimat ng Agila” star is enjoying hosting a Facebook live show where he gives away prizes to viewers.
Senator Bong Revilla just finished his action series, “Agimat ng Agila,” on GMA.
His new goal is to have his own show – live, that is. This is because he has been enjoying going live on Facebook.
“Ang ganda pala na nakapagku-communicate ka with your audience, kahit virtual,” he opined. “At kahit anong topic ang iyong pag-usapan.”
Someone said a game show would be perfect for him.
“Why not?” he said.
Will he be giving away a lot of gifts to lucky viewers?
