It’s said his movie with Ivana Alawi will unlikely push through.
Request granted.
This is how real-life sweethearts Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia must have reacted when GMA 7 announced that for his first project with the network, he will be paired with his girlfriend.
Khalil was discovered in a talent show on ABS-CBN. He was a long-time Kapamilya before signing up with GMA.
“Matagal nang dream kong makatrabahong muli si Khalil,” said Gabbi. “We work together well, as we previously did a film for an independent company.
“But, of course, we worked in different networks. One project lang siya allowed to do outside of ABS-CBN before,” related Gabbi.
Khalil and Gabbi will star in a mini-series, “Love You Stranger,” under GMA Public Affairs.

There seems to be something brewing between Diego Loyzaga and Barbie Imperial.
The two young stars seem to be an ideal pair.
Barbie, 22, used to be with Paul Salas, while Diego, 25, was in a relationship with Sofia Andres.
Barbie and Diego were recently spotted with friends in Sirom Beach in Pangasinan.
Barbie is part of the new Kapamilya series, “Bagong Umaga,” with Heaven Peralejo, Tony Labrusca, Yves Flores, Kiko Estrada and Michelle Vito.
Diego, who was last seen in “Los Bastardos,” is still waiting for his next show. Some of his followers hope to see him in a project with his father, actor Cesar Montano.
Speaking of Cesar, the actor’s three daughters with his ex-wife, Sunshine Cruz, are close with Diego. Angeline, Samantha Angeline and Angel Francheska have bonding time with their half-brother Diego. Even their moms, Teresa Loyzaga and Loyzaga, spend time with each other.

Going back to Sofia Andres, the 24-year-old actress-model is now a mom. She and racer Daniel Miranda have a daughter, Zoe Natalia.
We heard that in the beginning of their relationship, Sofia’s parents did not approve of Daniel, who is the son of Martin Miranda and Angelique Lhuiller.
“One reason is age. Napakabata pa ni Sofia, as she is only 22,” said a kibitzer. “Pero, nag-iba ang damdamin nila when Sofia and Daniel presented them with their apo.”
It was in June of this year that Sofia introduced her daughter to netizens. She then posted photos of her daughter’s baptism.

What is this we hear that Vice Ganda, who’s a staple in previous Metro film fests, will sit it out this year. It is said Vice’s entry, supposedly with current toast of YouTube, Ivana Alawi, will not push through.
