The ex-couple have a son, popular host Luis Manzano, who is turning 40 this April 21.

“Sa US ikinasal sina Ate Vi at Edu,” said a kibitzer. “Nagkataong they were doing a movie, ‘Romansa,’ in Las Vegas. Kaya when they decided to part ways after five years of marriage, hindi sila nahirapang kumuha ng divorce.”

Ate Vi’s current husband is Senator Ralph Recto, who is ten years her junior. They tied the knot in 1992.

The couple’s 29-year marriage proves age doesn’t matter when it comes to love.

Their marriage produced a son, Ryan Christian, now 24 years old.

Senator Ralph, a member of the famous Recto clan, is a grandchild of the late Senator Claro M. Recto. He served as a member of the House of Representative for three terms (1992 to 2001). He was first elected to the Senate in 2001 and was then the youngest senator. He currently serves as president pro tempore of the Senate.

She is sharing the screen with the two actors for the first time.

“Hindi ako originally nasa cast ng ‘First Yaya’,” she related. “But, as is common knowledge, Marian Rivera, who was the original choice to play first yaya, backed out. Ayaw daw niyang mag lock-in taping since that would mean nga naman, she will be separated from her two young children. Marian’s kids, Zia and Ziggy, are ages five and two, respectively.

“In the case of ‘Agimat,’ dream ko talaga na makagawa ng action, lalo’t ang leading man ay si Senator Bong. Hindi lang siya magaling na actor, mabait pa. Kung sabagay, ganun din si Sir Gabby,” she further stated.

Sanya is obviously being groomed by GMA for future good roles, just like her older brother, Jak Roberto, also a promising talent of GMA.

Sanya was last year’s Ginebra San Miguel Calendar Girl.

Her first appearance was in “Encantandia” in 2016.

She was a standout in her role as Lorna in “The Half Sisters.”

Sanya, 24, promises not to be picky with her roles.

“The more challenging it is, the better,” she said, “And the busier I am, much better, too.”

Sanya just transferred to her home last year. She is having a home built for her family.

Bea Alonzo said her reunion movie with John Lloyd Cruz is pushing through. Star Cinema will be producing it, with Olive Lamasan at the helm.

The actress has cut her ties with Star Magic last year, which explains why she can now do a film with Alden Richards. They will reportedly star in the Filipino adaptation of a Korean movie, “A Moment to Remember,” to be produced by Viva Films, GMA Pictures and APT Entertainment.

“Nakatrabaho ko na siya sa isang commercial for a shampoo,” said Bea.

Bea now has a new talent manager, Shirley Kwan, the former manager of Georgina Wilson, who is now pregnant with her third child.

Before leaving Star Magic and, of course, ABS-CBN, Bea took time to speak with director and former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan, known in show biz as Mr. M.

He was extra kind to her, said Bea. The 33-year-old actress said it was Mr. M who gave her her screen name Bea Alonzo. Bea’s real name is Phylbert Angellie Ranollo Fagestrom. She was just 13 when she joined showbiz. Her family hails from Pasig City.

However, Mr. M is no longer with Star Magic and ABS-CBN, too.
