Thank God!
We were able to talk to Antipolo Mayor Andeng Revilla-Ynares, who, with a sigh of relief, informed us that her husband, Junjun Ynares, is doing well after his bout with COVID-19.
“He is just making sure magaling na talaga siya, before he returns to work,” said Mayor Andeng. “He knows nga kasi that, aside from me, malaki ang tulong na magagawa niya — lalo ‘di pa natin alam when this pandemic will be over — sa mga constituents namin sa Antipolo.
A doctor by profession, Junjun was Antipolo mayor for three terms. He chose not to run for higher office but instead decided to become his wife’s executive assistant when she got elected as leader of their progressive city.
Doc Junjun’s mom, Rebecca is the current governor of Rizal.

Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada also reports that his father, former President and Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada, is doing well.
When the former president was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago, he was suffering from complications from COVID-19. He had to be intubated because, as his doctor told Sen. Jinggoy, it was absolutely necessary for the former President’s survival.
“Prayers from friends, relatives, employees and us, too, his family, obviously help,” said Sen. Jinggoy. “We are truly grateful to all those who prayed for him.
“Lalo na kay Edu (Manzano), who organized a Zoom mass last Sunday for him.”
Fr. Jerry Orbos, a cancer survivor, officiated the mass, with actor Rez Cortez assisting.
“Truly, nakaka-amaze si Lord,” said Senator Jinggoy. “Pati si Precy (his wife) ay nag test ng negative for COVID-19.”

Ara Mina has yet to confirm the rumor that her wedding to Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) Undersecretary Dave Almarinez may not push through.
The rumor persists because talks about the wedding have ceased, and the couple are said to be busy preparing relief goods for San Pedro City residents.
“Likas palang matulungin si Mr. Dave,” our source said. “Kanyang ideya raw, according to Ara, itong pamimigay ng relief goods at iba pang mga essential stuff sa mga nangangailangan.”
Why San Pedro, Laguna? Ara is mum about the reason, but we know Dave is from Laguna.

Kim Chiu, who is turning 31 on April 19, has no idea yet when she will walk down the aisle with actor Xian Lim.
However, she has revealed in an interview that she and Xian have talked about it. Xian, an only child, is turning 32 on November 15. She and Kim both have established careers. Kim is a host and actress, while Xian not only acts, but has also directed and produced a movie.
The sweethearts also share a love for music. They both have Chinese blood, too.
These many similarities might be why we seldom hear that the lovers have disagreements.
And we know Xian’s mom and grandma like Kim. How about Kim’s siblings? Do they like Xian for her?
“Wala silang complaints about Xian,” someone close to Kim family volunteered.

‘In my 43 years of existence, I’ve had fever, the flu, and coughs but Covid symptoms can’t be compared to what I’ve experienced before. — Sunshine Cruz’

Sunshine Cruz is in her third week of isolation after being exposed and testing positive for COVID-19 last month.
She revealed that she first was in denial when she saw her results. Then, she thought she would be asymptomatic, but she was wrong as she felt a lot of COVID-19 symptoms.
She misses her three daughters, and of course, her boyfriend, Macky Mathay.
“To everyone, Covid I real!” said the actress, “In my 43 years of existence, I’ve had fever, the flu, and coughs but Covid symptoms can’t be compared to what I’ve experienced before.
“I’m still grateful and blessed that the worst is over,” she added.
She is happy her daughters are in touch with her. And the girls’ half-brother, actor Diego Loyzaga, frequently calls to check up on them.
The girls and Diego’s dad is Sunshine’s ex, Cesar Montano.
