Dennis Trillo, lead actor of the top Kapuso series, “Legal Wives,” is leaving on September 1 for Italy to attend the 78th Venice International Film Festival.
Dennis is the lead actor of “On the Job” (OTJ), an entry in the prestigious film fest.
Erik Matti, director of “OTJ,” will accompany him.
Dennis would have wanted girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado to join him, but she is busy with a new assignment, GMA’s “Love, Die, Repeat,” with Xian Lim.
Of course, Dennis will also miss his son, Calix, whose mom is Carlene Aguilar.
Aside from “Legal Wives,” Dennis is featured in “Endless Love” with Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera and Bela Padilla.
“Endless Love” was first released in 2010. It is by directors Mac Alejandre and Andoy Ranay. It also stars Tirso Cruz III and Sandy Andolong.

Marian and new Kapuso Bea Alonzo are now friends.
The two “met” and were able to talk on the Facebook live celebration of beauty brand Beautederm. Bea and Marian are part of the family of Beautederm, which is celebrating its 12th year.
During the event, Marian promised that if Bea gets to visit her home, she would cook her lola’s menudo for Bea.

Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana will exchange “I’dos” this October in Tagaytay.
Carlo reportedly owns a vacation house there, but the house which Tom built for them is reportedly somewhere in Quezon City.
Tom is in “The World Between Us” with Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis Smith, while Carla is currently in lock-in taping for a GMA series.
She looks forward to doing a sitcom next year. With Tom, perhaps?
