MOMS — and other members of the family — will surely enjoy watching Ruffa Gutierrez, Ciara Sotto and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla in “M.O.M.s” (Mhies on a Mission), the new morning show on AllTV.

It is the first time for the three to work together, but Ruffa and Ciara have been family friends for a long time, so they are not really strangers. And, as members of the media teased them, the three have something in common when it comes to the men in their lives. Ciara and Ruffa were both linked to the same guy — John Lloyd Cruz — but not at the same time. Meanwhile, Senator Robin Padilla, the husband of Mariel, was once said to have wooed Ruffa — years before he met and married Mariel. All that is in the past now.

‘And, as members of the media teased them, the three have something in common when it comes to the men in their lives.’

The trio will be working for the first time bringing a new morning talk show experience to Philippine TV. Mariel, Ruffa, and Ciara as modern moms who will accomplish different missions every episode by featuring informative, fun, and compelling stories that will not just be relatable to fellow ‘Mhies’ but to the whole family. They have their own tasks — with Ruffa being “Mhie na may laban,” Ciara as the “Mhie na may hataw,” and Mariel as “Mhie na madiskarte.”

“It feels good to be back on television after 6 six years. We have prepared exciting episodes for our viewers, and we hope that they’ll have fun with us every morning. I’m very thrilled about this project and grateful that my new home is ALLTV,” said Mariel.

Ruffa is grateful to be bonding with Mariel and Ciara: “It’s such a breeze to work with them kasi napakagaan nilang kasama. It also helps na we don’t compete with each other and we let each other shine in our own respective ways. It’s never a dull moment with any of them. Talagang kuwentuhan lang kami. Kahit na madugo ang taping namin, we exert a lot energy. It just seems na hindi nakakapagod kasi napakagaan kasama ni Mariel and Ciara. So I couldn’t find better co-hosts than them.”

“This is another milestone in my career since it is my first time to do a talk show and I take this as a challenge to learn new things. It is also overwhelming to work with two amazing mothers and hosts,” Ciara Sotto excitedly said.

“M.O.M.s” is the first network produced show and it airs weekdays from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
