The actress is currently starring in two series, KathNiel’s “The House Arrest of Us” and TV5’s “Stay in Love.”
Ruffa Gutierrez is grateful to Archangel Productions for offering her the role of a social climber in the TV5 series, “Stay in Love,” even if they know she is currently starring in Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s online series, “The House Arrest of Us.”
“’Stay in Love’ is big time din, as the cast includes Bobby Andrews, Pooh, Kokoy de Santos and Maris Racal,” said Ruffa. “Director of ‘Stay in Love’ is Rod Marmol.
“Actually, ang puwedeng ituring na real winner sa dalawang projects na ito is me,” she continued. “Parehong maganda ang roles ko. And mababait lahat ng co-stars ko. At higit sa lahat, times two ang kita ko.”
Ruffa agrees that 2020 has been a busy year for her. She opened the year as part of ABS-CBN’s drama series, “Love Thy Woman,” with Kim Chiu and is ending the year by starring in two series.

Zaijian Jaranilla cannot imagine doing anything other than acting. Still, he is determined to finish college. The former child star, best remembered as miracle boy Santino of “May Bukas Pa,” is now 19 and is in school.
He juggles school work with acting. He is the lead star in the film, “Boyette: Not a Girl Yet.”
He also is set to star in “Keys to the Heart,” a Filipino adaptation of a Korean movie. It also stars Charo Santos-Conchio and Joshua Garcia and has Dan Villegas at the helm.
“I will play a person with autism,” Zaijian revealed.

Did we hear it right that Paolo Valenciano, who is directing Alden Richard’s first virtual concert, “Alden’s Reality,” has finished shooting the entire performance?
“Ready na ito for streaming on December 8,” said an insider. “At lahat kami, saludo sa galing ni Alden.”
The same source said Alden will have surprise guests. We heard two of the special performers are brothers Rayver and Rodjun Cruz, who are terrific dancers.

Paolo Valenciano, son of top performer Gary Valenciano and wife Angeli Pangilinan, has made a name for himself as a concert director.
Most of the shows he has directed have not only earned rave reviews but have also been jam packed shows.
Paolo is 36 and is the eldest of Gary and Angeli’s three kids. His younger siblings, Gab and Kiana, are singers and songwriters, too.
Direk Paolo is married to graphic artist and designer, Samantha Godinez.

Anne Curtis and her husband, Erwan Heussaff, have been in Australia for more than nine months now.
As we all know, Anne gave birth to their daughter, Dahlia, on March 2, 2020 in Melbourne.
Her mom lives there with her two siblings.
“Our plan was to come home (to the Philippines) ASAP,” said Anne. “Foremost because may trabaho ako sa ‘It’s Showtime’ and Erwan naman has his restaurant business. Sino ba naman ang nag-a-akalang magkakaroon ng pandemic?
“Kaya importante sa amin ngayon ang kapakanan ni Dahlia. We will obviously return home kung safe na talaga sa atin. Mahirap ipakipagsapalaran ang health ni Dahlia,” she added.
Anne has already heard of Bobet Vidanes’ resignation as director of “It’s Showtime,” said her sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith. As of this writing, there are no words yet who will take over as director of “It’s Showtime.”
