Former Senator and now senatorial candidate Jinggoy Estrada has denied that his father, former President Joseph Estrada is sick.
While Jinggoy admits President Erap had COVID-19 in April 2021, he was able to beat the virus.
“Mas takot ata ang sakit sa dad ko,” Senator Jinggoy added. “Yes, kesa sa kanya.
“Actually, bihira talaga siyang magkasakit at magagaang sakit lang, kaya madaling gumaling.”
Meanwhile, his mother, former Senator Loi Ejercito, is wheelchair-bound.
“She is a doctor, first and foremost, before she became a politician,” he said.
Surprisingly, no one among Senator Jinggoy and his siblings entered the medical profession. It seems they were more inclined to public service.

Senator Bong Revilla is somehow affected by the impending end of his action series, “Agimat ng Agila,” on GMA. Said to replace it on its timeslot is Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera’s sitcom, “Jose and Marian’s Bonggang Villa.”
Senator Bong has no idea what his next show with the network will be. He is, however, busy with senate work and of course, helping family members who are running in the coming May elections.
“Agimat ng Agila” is very memorable for Senator Bong as it served as his comeback project. In the first season, he was paired with Sanya Lopez. In the current show, he is with three beauty queens: Rabiya Mateo, MJ Lastimosa and Michelle Dee.
Senator Bong said all three are not only professional on the set but also fun to work with.
“Sana nga magkatrabaho kaming muli, kasama of course pati si Ma’am Elizabeth Oropesa.”
La Oro is also a beauty queen. She was a former Miss Luzon.
