‘Ang tagal na rin namin nadidinig ‘yan, but no, wala kaming offer for Sarah G. — GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable’
A GMA top executive, no less, whispered to us that there is no truth to the rumor the Kapuso network made an offer to singer-actress Sarah Geronimo.
A few weeks back, there was a buzz that Sarah was moving back to GMA, where she came from before signing up with ABS-CBN. Not true, denied Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA senior vice president for entertainment.
“Ang tagal na rin namin nadidinig ‘yan,” she said, “but no, wala kaming offer for Sarah G.”
Last Sunday, Sarah finally made an appearance on the Kapamilya Sunday show, “ASAP,” after a two-year hiatus.
Miss Lilybeth did not mention, however, if Sarah’s hubby, Matteo Guidicelli, is the one who will sign up with GMA. Well, we are not sure if Matteo still has a contract with any network.
What we know is he appeared on TV5 in “Masked Singer Pilipinas,” with Aga Muhlach and Cristine Reyes, among others.
Matteo and Sarah have made themselves scarce from the entertainment scene since they tied the knot on February 20, 2020. They have shared glimpses of their married life mostly on their social media accounts. Well, maybe the next stage in their life will be announced on social media, too.

It’s a case of a picture being worth more than a thousand words for sexy star AJ Raval.
The Vivamax talent did not issue a statement denying the rumors she’s pregnant. She did, however, post her sizzling bikini photos. The swimsuit proudly displayed AJ’s assets— her ample bosom and flat tummy.
Her message to all and sundry is simple — how could her tiny waist possibly contain a baby?
Will these photos finally put rumormongers to rest?
Well, AJ — and Viva — must be elated because netizens are hooked on her. The daughter of Jeric Raval is not only a sought-after star on Viva but also a top newsmaker. She must be the envy of her contemporaries because anything she does is talked-about and dissected on social media.

Do you know that Sen. Loren Legarda, who has been elected unanimously as Senate President Pro Tempore and Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, who is the new Senate President, have connections to the entertainment industry?
Sen. Loren is a much-awarded journalist and host. Among her shows were “PEP Talk,””The Inside Story,” and the documentary series “Dayaw.” She would often feature all sorts of interesting occurrences and people as well as insightful, investigative stories. She also helped produce documentary movies such as “Ulan sa Tag-araw: Isang Dokyu-Drama Ukol sa Pagbabago ng Klima,” “Buhos,” “Philippine Marine Biodiversity,” “Antique: Coral Restoration Program,” as well as the animation movie called “Ligtas Likas.”
Sen. Migz is good-looking enough to face the cameras, like Sen. Loren. But it’s actually his wife, the lovely Audrey Tan, who was once a visible TV personality. Before settling down with Sen. Migz and being mom to their three kids, Audrey was a commercial model and veejay on Studio 23.
Before Sen. Migz, actor-host Tito Sen — Senator Vicente Sotto — was the senate president.

Congratulations to the team behind “Nanahimik ang Gabi.” The movie has been selected by the executive committee of the Metro Manila Film Festival as one of the movies for the December extravaganza.
All the hard work of the people behind the movie, led by Rein Entertainment’s founders former Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano, Philip Cayetano, and Shugo Praico, have not gone to waste.
This early, “Nanahimik” is tickling the imagination of netizens because of its intriguing story and also casting. Billed as a thriller with sex and violence, it features Ian Veneracion opposite the 22-year-old Heaven Peralejo, who is actually younger than Ian’s own daughter.
Ian is a corrupt cop who is the boyfriend of Heaven. Talented character actor Mon Confiado increases the mystery factor.
How will the audiences react to Ian, who has made a name as a leading man?
The actor said he relishes the role and it’s something that he has not done before.
“Sobrang malayo sa personality ko so matrabaho, but when I read to script, the script was so refined, and it’s a story that needs to be told, so sulit ang trabaho na ginagawa namin dito,” he said at a recent interview.
It was also the story by director Shugo Praico, her co-actors, plus the Rein Team that made a big difference to Heaven, who engages in some intimate scenes with Ian.
“Sobrang understanding ng team, sina Direk, at nagkaroon ng compromise,” she said, “Nakakatuwa kasi we collaborated so hindi lang director ang nasusunod, dahil binibigyang buhay namin ang ‘Nanahimik ang Gabi,’ kami as aartist, nagbibigay din kami ng suggestion.”
