But will Sharon agree to work with him?

Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta

How nice – if true – that Gabby Concepcion would willingly team up in a project with former wife Sharon Cuneta.

But as one solid Sharonian remarked: “Si Sharon, willing naman kaya?”

Followers of the ex-couple still remember their first team-up, “Dear Heart” (1981).

Directed by the late Danny Zialcita, who also wrote the story, “Dear Heart” emerged a big hit.

The film also starred the late Eddie Garcia as Sharon’s father.

“Walang kissing scene,” a longtime Sharon-Gabby fan, said. “Pero, very endearing ang mga eksena.

“I was myself very young then, just like Gabby and Sharon. I watched the movie several times.”

The ex-couple were married in 1984 at the Manila Cathedral.

Their marriage was annulled in 1993.

KC, their only daughter, was born April 7, 1985.

For those interested to know where the couple’s wedding ring is, Sharon, in an interview, revealed it is with KC.

Sad to reveal that it’s confirmed actress Caridad Sancez is afflicted with dementia.

Dementia, in the dictionary, is described as a deterioration of cognitive function, similar to Alzhimer’s disease, which is characterized by progressive memory loss.

In any case, when actor John Lloyd Cruz heard about it, he felt extremely sad, as he is close to Caridad, especially when he was just starting in showbiz.

They were together in his introductory show, “Tabing Ilog,” which also starred Kaye Abad, Paolo Contis, Desiree del Valle, and Jodi Sta. Maria.

“I felt the one closest to her,”

John Lloyd revealed in an interview, “Ang bait niya sa akin kasi. Pinangangaralan niya akong seryosohin ang pag-a-artista. Prediction niya raw, sisikat ako.”

He was in Cebu taking up temporary residence there, so he could be with his son, Elias Modesto (mother, actress Ellen Adarna), when he learned about Caridad’s sickness.

Thus, his first impulse when he arrived in Manila from Cebu recently, was to visit Caridad in her home in White Plains (in Quezon City). However, he was advised not to because of the pandemic.

Now, on whether he will soon work on a new movie, John Lloyd has kept quiet.

Actress Maja Salvador, John Lloyd’s talent manager, is also silent about the actor’s comeback project.

Right now, Maja is busy as one of the headhunters in Tv5’s “PoPinoy.”

The show’s grand launch is on June 13.

Yassi Pressman’s new game show, “Rolling in It Philippines,” produced by TV5, Cignal TV and Viva, makes her the country’s newest game show host.

But contrary to whispers, the said game show is not the reason she quit the top-rating action series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” where she played Coco Martin’s leading lady.

“Nataon lang that after the report that I’m no longer in ‘Ang Probinsyano’ circulated, I was offered the game show,” explained Yassi. “It was a bagong experience. Thus, I grabbed it.”

“Rolling In It Philippines” is a local adaptation of a game show that was very popular in the United Kingdom in 2020.

Contestants are to play with a celebrity partner and with just a toss of a coin may win up to P2,000,000.

“Yes, 2 million pesos,” Yassi said.

“May tanungan portion, of course, although the most interesting and exciting portion is the game itself. Ito nga ‘yong pag-toss na ng coin. And how much it will earn the contestant.”

Did we hear it right that “First Yaya,” will soon end?

Its timeslot will reportedly be assigned to Tom Rodriguez and Alden Richards’ new drama series, “The World Between Us.”
Jasmine Curtis-Smith is also in the series.

“The World Between Us” is slated for release before Tom’s wedding to Carla Abellana in October.
