Actress Rita Avila volunteered to answer the question why the series, “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” (ASIAA), deserves a Book 2.
Rita has been added to the original cast of the soap, which is directed by her husband, FM
Reyes. She joins Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado, Sam Milby, plus the Diamond Star, no less, Maricel Soriano.
Rita revealed she has followed the series from day one and she admires it and is overwhelmed by the talent.
“Lalo pa nga at mahuhusay ang cast,” she said.
“But I never told this to my husband. That is why I’m surprised I’m included in the Book 2.”
Aside from Rita, the soap will also introduce new characters to be played by Grae Fernandez, Kira Balinger and Joseph Marco.
Many questions shall also be answered in the second season: Who is the killer of Albie Casiño’s character? And what was the reason for the murder?
The identity of Grae’s parents will also be known in the next episodes.

Grae, who is Grae Cameron Garcia Fernandez in real life, is 19 years old and a former Star Magic talent. He was a member of Gimme 5 with Brace Arquiza, Joaquin Reyes and Nash Aguas.
His father is actor Mark Anthony Fernandez, who is the son of actress Alma Moreno and the late actor Rudy Fernandez.
Grae considers his role in “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin” as his first matured role.
People predict he and Kira will become a popular love team.
“Bagay sila,” said a kibitzer. “Bagama’t one year older si Kira, who is 20, kesa kay Grae.”

Kira, who was born in Hong Kong, spoke very few Tagalog when she was introduced in the entertainment scene a couple of years ago.
But she is now fluent, she claimed. “Mapapatunayan ito when I played a role in ‘Pamilya Ko,’ where I had sina Tito Joey Marquez and Tita Sylvia Sanchez as co-stars. Sayang nga because the series had to be cancelled because of the non-renewal of the franchise of ABS-CBN.
“I had fun working with the my fellow young Kapamilya stars sa series, like sina Kiko Estrada at Maris Racal.”
“Pamilya Ko” also featured JM de Guzman, Arci Muñoz and Perla Bautista.

Aside from her cooking show on YouTube channel, Judy Ann Santos is seen in the Kapamilya program, “Paano Kita Pasasalamatan?” and in several ads, where she is sometimes joined by kids Johan, Lucho and Luna.
So far, the actress said she has no regrets not being as busy as she used to. She maintains that having a family is one of her biggest accomplishments with husband, host Ryan Agoncillo.

The new dad said the quarantine meant time with his new child.
“Being a new dad, I’ve never felt happier. And lucky am I since most of the time, because of the existing pandemic, I’m home most of the time kaya sobrang bonding namin ng baby ko.”
The only time he was away from them was when he was in the lock-in taping of “La Vida Lena,” directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Jojo Saguin.

Speaking of Erich, we heard the actress is still in a relationship with Mateo Lorenzo, whose family reportedly owns, among others, the well-known family restaurant, Pancake House.
Erich was only 14 years old when she started her showbiz career after winning in the reality talent search, “Star Circle Quest.”
After playing the title role in “Katorse,” Erich had one project after another, including the highly successful “Maria La Del Bario” and “Two Wives.” Her last TV project was in 2018, the soap “The Blood Sisters,” where she played the three lead characters.
At the media con of “La Vida Lena,” when she was asked how rich she is, someone replied for her: “She is as rich as her name.”
