Couple Edu Manzano and Cherry Pie Picache are eager to have even just one child.

Edu’s 66 years old; Cherry Pie, 51.

“Who wouldn’t want babies?” said Edu in his recent guesting in Cherry Pie’s vlog.

“Gusto kong maisayaw ang anak ko sa kanyang debut,” he revealed.

“Naghanda ako. Nagpadancing lesson pa ako, tapos biglang sinabi, ‘Daddy yung gagastusin natin sa party, punta na lang kaming mga kaibigan ko sa Bora,’” the actor revealed.

“Anak pinaghandaan ko pa naman ito, pero ang mahalaga yung kaligayahan ng anak ko,” he added.

Cherry Pie said she also wants a child, especially because she only has one, Nio.

“Siguro ang ganda ng anak natin,” said Cheery Pie to Edu.

Edu has three kids from previous relationships. His eldest is 40-year-old host Luis Manzano.

Luis’ mom is Rep. Vilma Santos.

You get used to it, Piolo Pascual said about being called Papa P.

“Pero, noong una, talagang nanibago ako. Lalo hindi lang mga kapwa artista ko ang tumatawag sa akin ng Papa P, pati ng mga staff at production people, some of whom are much older than I am.”

It was Ai Ai de las Alas who first called him Papa P, when they guested together in the then kuwelang noontime show, “Magandang Tanghali, Bayan.”

“Mga year 2000 yata iyon,” he recalled, “In turn, I called her Mama Ai.”

The actor now claims he has no idea why Papa P stuck.

“Pero, okay na ako sa pagiging Papa P,” he said with a smile. “May pakinabang.”

Piolo admits he’s a frustrated comedian before he agreed to star in the sitcom, “My Papa Pi.”

But now that he is topbilling a sitcom, he claims he is enjoying it.

“Hindi ko pa nakasama ang mga komedyantent makaka-eksena ko,” he related. “Sayang nga lang na hindi rin ito magtatagal, since originally, I’m set to do a drama series, ‘Flower of Evil,’ na kakaiba ang role ko. Bida-kontrabida ako dun.”

Lovi Poe will be his leading lady in “Flower of Evil.”

It will be Lovi’s major project after signing up with ABS-CBN. She was last seen as Benjamin Alves’ partner in “Owe My Love,” produced by GMA.

Incidentally, Lovi just marked her 33rd birthday last February 11, the feast day of our Lady of Lourdes.

“I was named after her. That’s why my real name is Lourdes Victoria,” she said.

Lovi Poe’s mom is Rowena Moran and her dad is the late Action King Fernando Poe, Jr.

Rabiya Mateo is excited about the good feedback for her performance in “Agimat ng Agila.”

“Iyong iba, kay Senator Bong (Revilla) pa nanggagaling mismo,” she said. “Equally impressed din daw ang director naming si Direk Rico (Gutierrez).

“I promised both of them na magiging better ako next time. And I’m praying, I don’t fail them.”

This is why she is taking to heart the advice of Senator Bong. She trains and rehearses.

She knows how serious her co-stars and the people in the production are with their work.

“Sabi nga, they make sure they give their best,” she said. “Nakakahiya if I don’t do the same.”

How true is the rumor that it was Angelica Panganiban who was supposed to play the leading lady of Piolo Pascual in the sitcom, “My Papa Pi?”

But Angelica allegedly passed up the offer because her boyfriend, Gregg Homan, was sick at that time.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, who reportedly just arrived from Germany, was tapped to replace Angelica.

Pia considers it a pleasure to be working with Piolo.

Last Valentine’s Day, may be his and sweetheart Maine Mendoza’s last together, said Arjo Atayde.

He is seriously considering marrying her before 2022 ends.

The actor is running for as first district representative in Quezon City.

Most everyone in the district likes him, according to our source.

Also well-liked is Arjo’s mother, actress Sylvia Sanchez.

Arjo, should he win, will continue with his showbiz career.

“Mamimili na nga lang ako ng role,” the award-winning actor said.
