Camille and co-host Iya Villania will now be seen in their new outdoor set up which has a close to nature feel. They’re now both vaccinated and are encouraging the public to also get vaccinated soon.

“Getting vaccinated means protecting ourselves, our families, our communities and soon… our entire country!” says Camille. “Please register now at your LGU or barangay and get yourself vaccinated, so we can all move forward as a country!”

Camille says she and co-host Iya are so happy to do new live episodes for “Mars Pa More” after their almost one year work-from-home setup.

“We’ve prepared shows that have a star-studded lineup so don’t miss each new episode!” she adds. “Among our guests are Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, LJ Reyes, Gabby Eigenmann, Rodjun Cruz, Kokoy de Santos and Elijah Canlas of ‘Gameboys,’ Maureen Larrazabal, and TikTok star, Aling Nena. Plus some kapamilya stars like Jericho Rosales and Judy Ann Santos with husband Ryan Agoncillo. O bongga, di ba, so watch na kayo ng ‘Mars Pa More’ on GMA-7 every morning.”

Ken Chan and Rita Daniela can now heave a sigh of relief. The feedback on their new series, “Ang Dalawang Ikaw,” is very positive and it is also rating very well in its 2:30 p.m. slot

“We’re nervous noong una, kasi we just came from a rom-com, ‘One of the Baes’,” says Ken. “Now, we’re doing a serious drama about a husband and wife and mental illness. So sabi namin, baka manibago ang viewers. But the comments made by netizens so far are very encouraging.”

“These are the most mature roles we’ve played kasi nga, bilang mag-asawa, we have to show yung mga typical scenes in the life of a married,” adds Rita. “We have to make it appear natural at hindi fake ang dating. Ang maganda sa show, it also helps viewers to understand how valid mental health issues can seriously affect a marital relationship.”

Ken has played a transgender, a special child and now, a man with multiple personalities.

“I’m thankful to GMA for giving me such challenging roles that test my mettle as an actor,” he beams. “In ‘Dalawang Ikaw,’ I play the dual roles of Nelson and Tyler, but in the same person as I’m afflicted with dissociative identity disorder. Rita plays my suffering wife, Mia, and Anna Vicente plays my other woman, Beatrice.”

Their fans felt thrilled when Rita was punished for failing to answer a question about Ken.

She was ordered to kiss her favorite part of Ken’s face or body and she chose to kiss his eyes.

“Maganda kasi ang mga mata niya,” she reasons out. “Super expressive kaya nagagamit niya in conveying emotions effectively sa dramatic scenes.”

‘We don’t even know the effects yet the vaccine might have for pregnant women and prospective mothers. — Christian Bautista’

Christian Bautista did not win in the “Star in a Million” talent search in 2003, but he’s now remains more visible than the top three winners Erik Santos, Sheryn Regis and Marinel Santos. He’s turning 40 on October 19 and the younger stars in his regular shows on GMA-7, “All Out Sundays,” as well as the discoveries in three seasons of “The Clash,” where he’s a judge, now consider him their kuya, their mentor.

In the “AOS” press con hosted by GMA, young actor Ruru Madrid praised Christian for being so generous in sharing valuable words of wisdom that Christian gained through years of his experience in showbiz.

Christian has also gone into songwriting and he has given some of his compositions to “The Clash” discoveries, like “Ako Naman” to Clash 3 winner Jessica Villarubin and “I Need to Know” to Clash 1 finalist Psalms David. Other songs Christian penned are “Huling Harana,” “Kapit,” “Musika” and “Ikaw Lamang” that he included in his newest album.

Christian is truly blessed as he is now also doing lock-in taping for a musical series for a company called Viu, “Still,” with Julie Anne San Jose, Bituin Escalante, Gab Pangilinan and other theater actors. Is he and his wife Kat Ramnani planning to have a baby soon?

“It’s currently on hold. Mahirap mag-baby while we’re in the midst of a pandemic. We don’t even know the effects yet the vaccine might have for pregnant women and prospective mothers. So we’ll wait muna until this health crisis is over. Ang gusto namin, when things get back to normal, magbakasyon muna kami in another country for a change kasi ang tagal na nating naka-quarantine.”

Right now, his wife Kat continues to serve as his inspiration to do and be better in his personal and professional life. “Once you become married, you don’t just think of yourself but also your better half,” he says. “You want to do everything to make her happy, to provide for her and prepare for your future family. We’re confident that with the Lord’s help, we will able to get through this pandemic safely as a couple.”

McCoy de Leon feels so fortunate to be chosen to play former QC Mayor Herbert Bautista’s son called Uno in the TV sequel of Herbert’s hit 1987 movie, “Puto.” So how is it working with the original star of Viva’s “Puto”?

“Masuwerte talaga akong nabigyan ng chance to work with Mayor, kasi sobrang bait niya, very helpful, very professional,” he says. “Si Tatay, maraming magandang katangian. Lagi niyang sinasabi sa’kin, kung may kailangan ka, sabihin mo lang. I also like how he handles people sa iba’t ibang okasyon. Magaling siyang makasama sa lahat.”

How did he prepare for his role?

“Inaral ko talagang mabuti ang role ko and, si Tatay Herbert, sa taping, tinuturuan niya rin ako. Isang natutuhan ko sa kanya, ang comedy pala, para ring drama na mahirap gawin. Kailangang may puso rin para maging effective ka sa pagpapatawa.”

Their director, Rayn Brizuela, praised him during the zoom presscon, saying: “Si McCoy, hindi siya puro pa-cute or papogi as Uno kundi inaaral niya talaga ang character niya. May ibinibigay siyang ibang flavor sa pagganap niya.”

“Masaya ako sa project na ito kasi puro supportive lahat ng kasama ko,” adds McCoy. “I’m so thankful kina Lassy Marquez, MC Calaquian, at Chad Kinis ng Beks Battalion as my Mamitas dito, ang tatlong duwendeng tumutulong sa’kin kapag inaapi ako. Sila ang tumayong mother figures ko.”
