Thank God, according to Karen Davila, her bout with COVID-19 is over and she has now tested negative for the virus.
What did she do while she was sick?
“Well, I prayed not only for myself but also for the other members of my family who had the virus,” she said.
“Ang bait ni Lord,” she added, “But, of course, we followed to the letter what our doctors told us to do. They are the people we should trust tungkol sa virus.”
Aside from Karen, her co-anchors in “TV Patrol” also got COVID-19. Bernadette Sembrano was the first. She was followed by Gretchen Fulido and Alvin Elchico.
“We are all just lucky that our symptoms were mild,” said Karen. “And all of us have been vaccinated before the virus hit us. Kaya I suggest na magpabakuna tayo, not just for ourselves and our families, but for our fellow Filipinos.”

When she and James Reid called it quits, Nadine Lustre thought it was “simpleng tampuhan lang.”
But as we all know, the two did not get back together. And, surprisingly, Nadine seem to have bounced back beautifully from the breakup.
“Siguro, dahil pumasok sa eksena si Christophe (Bariou, her boyfriend) who is very understanding,” said Nadine.
It was because of Christophe and that she decided to buy a property in Siargao, where he owns businesses.

Christophe, 31, is reportedly a co-founder of Maison Bukana, an expensive resort located in Malinao, General Luna in Siargao. He was editor, too, of a magazine exclusively dedicated to Siargao Island.
The tall Filipino-French businessman is good-looking, too.

Senator Bong Revilla is working on the second book of his successful GMA series, “Agimat ng Agila.”
Book 2 will feature his character, Gabriel Labrador, facing a new enemy. He will also have two additional leading ladies: former beauty queens Rabiya Mateo and MJ Lastimosa. His original leading lady, Sanya Lopez, will reprise her role as Maya Lagman.
Since Rabiya will have fight scenes with Senator Bong in the series, she had to take up judo and martial arts lessons.
“Dream ko kasi,” said Rabiya, “to do a series with Senator Bong. This time, magkalaban kami.”
“Agimat ng Agila” is an original action-fantasy series created by Aloy Adlawan.
“Parang fantasy character lang ang gagampanan ko,” said Senator Bong, “Until I suggested to make my character real para mas may impact kako sa manonood. I am glad the powers behind GMA listened.”
He said he is sure the audience will like the second book of the series.
