While Sue Ramirez frankly admits she has a crush on Zanjoe Marudo, with whom she is teamed up in the series, “The Broken Marriage Vow,” she is certain she will not fall for him.

As is common knowledge, Sue is in a relationship. And the lucky guy is Javi Benitez, as aspiring actor and the son of billionaire businessman and former politician Albie Benitez.

Albie has ventured into TV and movie production. He owns Brightlight Productions, which produces a number of shows on TV5. Its public relations officer is Pat P Daza, who is a radio anchor and incidentally also writes a column for a popular broadsheet.

Javi, according to Sue, might run in the 2022 elections. Albie might also run, as he is reportedly eyeing the mayoralty seat in Bacolod City.

The Benitezes are natives of Negros Occidental.

“Kaya kapag tumakbo for political office si Jovi, baka sa Negros Occidental,” said Sue. “He has not shared all his political plans with me, though.”

Javi has a degree in Political Science from the University of Santa Clara in California. He finished elementary and high school from De la Salle University.

Now back to “The Broken Marriage Vow.”

It is produced by ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment, headed by Deo Edrinal.

Tapped to direct the series, which is based on the British series “Doctor Foster,” is Connie Macatuno, whose last directorial job was “Wild and Free,” released in 2018.

Alden Richards and Jasmine Curtis Smith’s lip-lock in “The World Between Us” excited a number of viewers of the primetime series.

While it is known that Alden is still unattached, Jasmine is in a relationship with Jeff Ortega, Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional director.

They have been together for four years, we heard.

Jeff comes a political clan. He may run for a political office in La Union in the next elections.

In the case of Jasmine, no need to tell you that she is the younger sister of popular actress and endorser Anne Curtis.

Jasmine was born in Australia, but decided to come over to the Philippines to become an actress.

This has turned out to be a wise move.

Now on sale are tickets for the Julie Anne San Jose’s upcoming concert, a musical trilogy called “Limitless.”

Scheduled in September, “Limitless” has Paolo Valenciano as creative director; JC Gellidon as director, and Myke Solomon as musical director.

According to Paolo, 2021 is Julie Anne’s year, as, aside from being a singer, she proved she can act, too, in her just completed series, “Heartfelt Café,” where she was paired with David Licauco.

The followers the two of them amassed are reportedly clamoring for a sequel.

In any case, Julie Anne also has a musical set to stream on Viu.

Julie recently had her face plastered on an electronic billboard on Times Square in New York.

She is a happy wife and is looking forward to having one child — or maybe two — with husband Dave Almarinez.

ARA MINA

Ara Mina, now Mrs. Dave Almarinez, is very happy.

And looks it.

She can hardly wait to have a new member in their family.

She wants to get pregnant soon.

“I want a boy,” she said. “Pero, if God wills that Dave and I have, two, sana, lalaki at babae.”

Ara has a daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Gabrielle, with Bulacan politician Patrick Meneses.

“Kinailangang ipaliwanag ko sa kanya [Mandy] why I am marrying Dave and not her father,” Ara related.

Dave himself has children from previous relationships. They were present when she and Dave married in Baguio City last June, according to Ara.

While Dave can provide for her and Mandy, Ara has no plans to rest. In fact, she will be working on a movie soon. She also has her own bake shop, where she bakes her own cakes and pastries.

Also glowing right now is Julia Montes, who will play the leading lady of real-life boyfriend Coco Martin, in the Kapamilya series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

The series is now on its sixth year.

Julia would not reveal what her role is, “Basta, this is a reunion project for us.”

As is common knowledge, she and Coco were previously paired in “Walang Hanggan” (2012), “Ikaw Lamang” (2014), and “Wansapanataym: Yamashita’s Treasures” (2015).

All three rated well, said Julia with a smile.

When asked if she and Coco have a child, Julia chose to remain quiet.

It was while on leave from her work that she was able to continue her schooling at the Southville International School and Colleges.

Julia also took up Culinary Arts at the Center for Culinary Arts Manila.
