Even before tying the knot with their grooms, they have already won the hearts of their mothers-in-law.
How lucky Alex Gonzaga and Jessy Mendiola are.
The two soon-to-be brides are said to have won the hearts of their future mothers-in-law.
It is said the house where Alex and her fiance, Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada, will reside after their wedding is a gift from Alex’s future in-laws.
“Old residence daw ng mga Morada ang bahay na ibinigay na nga sa kanila,” said a kibitzer.
“They will reportedly have it renovated. They have an architect who will help them with the design they have in mind.
“Ang ganda ng location ng bahay, bukod sa napakalaki ng lugar,” our source added. “Iyon nga lang, malayo ang Lipa sa Taytay where the Gonzagas reside.
“Alex’ Ate Toni also lives in the South. She and husband (director Paul Soriano), reside in Ayala Alabang with their son Seve.”

After working with Sylvia Sanchez in the Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) entry, “Coming Home,” former Senator Jinggoy Estrada says there’s a lot to admire about her, aside from being an excellent actress.
“Mabait din pala siya and a pleasant conversationalist, lalo kung ang pinag-u-usapan ay pamilya,” noted the actor, “Kahit katatapos pa lamang niyang kunan ng heavy scene, pero may tumatawag sa kanya na family member, pupunta kaagad siya sa phone. Kaya ako, pinag-a-aralan ko bawat eksena ko tuwing nagre-report ako sa shooting.
“Mahirap ang role ko,” he continued, “I play an OFW (Overseas Filipino worker) who had a relationship with another woman. Nalaman ito ng asawa (Sylvia) at mga anak ko kaya naging kontrabida ako sa aking mga anak, lalo na when my kerida decided to leave me. I felt so devastated that I decided to go back to my family.
“At sa mga eksena ko sa parteng ito ng movie, hirap na hirap ako. I was supposedly sick kasi. And I had no money. But Salve (Sylvia), without question, welcomed me back. She also convinced my children to also welcome me back.
“That particular scene is simply beautiful and touching,” he added.
He is proud of the whole cast, who all did a good job.
“Yes, including Julian and Jake,” he said.
Julian is Senator Jinggoy’s 24-year-old son, while Jake is the senator’s half-brother.

It’s always an exciting visit for actor John Lloyd Cruz when he flies to Cebu to see Elias, his son with Ellen Adarna.
The ex-couple are co-parenting, and Elias stays with Ellen in Cebu.
“Kasi nga John Lloyd is mostly in Manila,” said John Lloyd’s staff. “Maraming inaasikaso, kabilang na ang paggawa ng project with Brightlight Entertainment of former Congressman Albee Benitez.
“Congressman Benitez owns the private plane John Lloyd uses. Ang kind niya kay Lloydie. Kung sabagay, the congressman is a really nice man naman.”
