She wants to have another child before her only daughter, Sofia, who will be tying the knot soon, becomes a mom.
Comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas is eager to have a baby with husband of four years, Gerald Sibayan. Reports say the couple might just try surrogacy.
Ai Ai is 56 and is 29 years older than Gerald.
The two met via their common interest, which was badminton. They were in a relationship for five years before they decided to tie the knot in 2017.
“Their wedded bliss proves that age doesn’t matter,” said a kibitzer.
Ai Ai has four children — Sancho, Nikki, Sofia and Seth. Seth is adopted.
“He was only five days old when he came into my life,” said Ai Ai.
The actress shared that her only daughter, Sofia, is getting married in December.
“Kaya sana bago siya magka-anak, ako muna,” she revealed.
Sofia, 24, studied in the US.
“Because she and her brother lived with their dad, Miguel [Vera], in the US,” explained Ai Ai. “Doon kasi nakatira si Miguel with his family. Nag-decide lang si Sofia to join me here (in the Philippines).”
During a conversation, Ai Ai revealed that Sofia recently was victimized by online scammers.
“Kaya my warning to everyone is be careful,” said Ai Ai.
Ai Ai is in GMA 7’s top rating soap, “Owe My Love,” with Lovi Poe, Benjamin Alves, Rocco Nacino, Jackie Lou Blanco, Winwyn Marquez, Nova Villa, Ryan Eigenmann and Leo Martinez.

Melai Cantiveros said she and husband Jason Francisco have several kissing scenes in the movie, “Ang Soul Mo’y Ako,” which also features her “Magandang Buhay” co-hosts, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal.
“Magandang Buhay,” of course, is the four-year-old morning talk show of the Kapamilya Channel. It airs from Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
Melai, Karla, and Jolina all had the chance to star in their own films. Karla was a former contract talent of Regal Films. Jolina, who started her showbiz career as a singer at nine years old, did several movies with her former screen partner, Marvin Agustin.
Meanwhile, Melai was featured in several Star Cinema comedies and is best remembered for winning in “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) in 2009. It was while in PBB that her romance with Jason started.
“Pero first kissing scene namin ni Jason ‘yung mapapanood sa ‘Ang Soul Mo’y Akin,’” said Melai. “Yes, on screen.”
Melai and Jason married in 2013. They have two daughters.

Life, according to Glaiza de Castro, has been kind to her and her Irish fiancé, David Rainey.
David recently flew to the Philippines and they will soon start their own business, a coffee shop named Café Galura.
Café Galura is in Baler, Glaiza’s hometown.
“Napaka-progressive kasi ng lugar,” said the actress. “Lalo noong bago mag-pandemia. Kaya feeling ni David, our business will go up, lalo pag natapos na ang pandemia.”
She will be actively involved in the running of their business, although she said showbiz will always be in her heart. Glaiza is in the cast of the upcoming GMA afternoon series, “Nagbabagang Luha,” with Claire Castro.
