Thank God, as the latest report has it that basketball legend and former senator Robert Jaworski is doing well.
Jaworski, 75, was hospitalized because of pneumonia last year, but is now doing well.
“Hindi masasakitin,” said someone close to his family. “Kaya medyo na alarm ang kanyang pamilya nang magkasakit siya.”
He is married to Evelyn Bautista, the eldest daughter of the late Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr.
Jawo’s eldest son, Robert “Dodot” Jr., is married to former equestrienne and actress Mikee Cojuangco. They have been blessed with three sons, Robert Vincent Anthony, Rafael Joseph and Renzo Mikael.
Dodot, like his dad, was a basketball player and politician as well. He served as Pasig City representative from 2004 to 2007. He is 49 years old.

Thank God, said Rayver Cruz, that he has saved enough to have his own house.
Recently, his bachelor pad was transformed by the famous Moss Design House. In just three days, Moss fixed it and gave it a mid-century industrial look. Rayver and girlfriend Janine Gutierrez approve of the beautiful transformation.
Rayver, who was originally from ABS-CBN before signing up with GMA, and Janine, who transferred to ABS-CBN from GMA, make their relationship work.
“Malaking tulong that they belong to showbiz families,” observed a kibitzer.
Janine, as we all know, is the daughter of Lotlot de Leon, whose parents are Nora Aunor and Christopher de Leon. Rayver, meanwhile, is from the famous Cruz clan of showbiz that includes Sunshine, Sheryl, Geneva and of course, Tirso Cruz III. Rayver’s brother is Kapuso actor Rodjun Cruz.

Now that Nadine Luster has decided to cut ties with Viva Artist Agency (VAA), the talent arm of Viva Entertainment, she will be managing her own career.
Nadine wants VAA to stop getting any commissions from her work.
VAA reportedly gets 40% commission from whatever project she gets, including her endorsements.
“Apparently, ayaw ng VAA,” said someone close to Nadine. “Since may mga existing endorsements si Nadine na ang nakipag-negotiate ay VAA. Kaya hayan at may demandahan tuloy na nagaganap.”
Before she became a well-known endorser and actress, Nadine was part of the all-female Pop Girls when Viva Entertainment decided to take a chance on her.
She was her paired with newcomer James Reid in the Viva film, “Diary ng Panget,” which became a huge success.
Their team-up clicked.
Now, Nadine and James are no longer together. James has also left Viva and is being managed by his father.
Neither Viva nor Nadine is talking about the reason for their falling out.

Nadine Lustre and Maja Salvador are two stars who have decided to strike it on their own.

Maja Salvador has also decided to manage her own career.
She has put up her own management outfit.
The actress-dancer left ABS-CBN to join Johnny Manahan, who had then accepted the offer to direct a Sunday show on TV5.
Manahan, of course, was the brains behind ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, where Maja came from. Mr. M also served as vice president of ABS-CBN.
Mr. M left ABS-CBN when the franchise of the network was not granted by congress.
He reportedly got an offer that was too hard to resist. But that relationship did not last long.
Maja has partnered with boyfriend Rambo Nunez and his mom, Marilen Nunez, for her talent agency.
Marilen used to work as assistant of the late Douglas Quijano, who was an influential producer, talent manager and talent discoverer in his time. Douglas was also a project coordinator who used to work as adviser of Mother Lily Monteverde of Regal Entertainment.
