Copper advances on dovish forecast

HANOI- Prices of copper and most industrial metals rose on Thursday.

On the London Metal Exchange, three-month copper that is often used as a gauge of global economic health edged up 0.2 percent to $9,085 a ton, while the most-traded May copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange advanced 0.8 percent to 67,140 yuan ($10,345.31) a ton.

Traders believe continued easing measures will ensure liquidity in the financial markets.
