Logistics platform powers food importer

Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc. (TMSPH) introduces one of its flagship new mobility solutions, a logistics platform that aims to digitalize logistics processes and support operating efficiency and growth of local enterprises.

This specialized system is designed to automate daily planning, which covers delivery routing, loading optimization, vehicle assignment, and trip booking. TMSPH’s Logistics Platform also offers real-time delivery status tracking for daily management of business.

In this initial phase of launching the digital platform, TMPSH has started supporting logistics operation of Mida Food Distributors Inc. , a leading seafood importer, distributor, and processor in the Philippines. 

Mida Food provides quality frozen seafood products for businesses in the food service industry, as well as individuals and households through its retail brand, Pacific Bay.

Through TMSPH’s Logistics Platform, Mida Food can address the limitations in its delivery operations, such as the difficulty in route planning due to various client restrictions, challenges with truck capacity vis-í -vis demand and product load, and lack of visibility in delivery status.

The Logistics Platform streamlines administration and generates the ideal route and loading plan that easily integrates the variable delivery conditions.

 Finalists for Impact ‘23 bared

Sprout Solutions  announced the  top 10 finalists for the upcoming Impact ‘23: The Philippine B2B SaaS Challenge. 

The leading homegrown B2B SaaS company and HR tech leader in the country, in partnership with Kaya Founders, aims to discover new visionary entrepreneurs to lead the era of digital transformation.

Impact ‘23: The PH B2B SaaS Challenge is a startup accelerator program designed to unveil the next wave of innovative B2B solutions from local and international early-stage startups. The program is jointly organized by Sprout and Kaya Founders, made possible by its sponsors Amazon Web Services (AWS), Brankas, and Beeline, in partnership with Asia CEO Events.

The 10 selected candidates in no particular order are Happy Benefits, Umwelt Peopletech Solutions Private Limited, Smile API, Olivia Technology Group Inc, Twala, Britana, Aiah, Meron, MeetBit, and Betterteem. These early-stage startups have all displayed tremendous potential in helping streamline the employee lifecycle, remove barriers to different financial transactions, and make key business processes more efficient.

The finalists will join the Impact ‘23 8-week accelerator program starting January 16. 

Lalamove marks 6th year

Tradition of sharing

Bike Scouts, Pizza Hut, and a very special advocacy called the Midnight Ride, come together to bring the merry to these homeless communities during the holiday season.

Bike Scouts’ most established traditions i the Midnight Ride is held yearly on Christmas Eve, where volunteer Bike Scouts ride across the city to distribute food and gifts to the homeless.

For 2022 Bike Scouts  forged a unique partnership for the season — the Bike Scouts x Pizza Hut Midnight Ride Thru Delivery.

Over 141 pinned locations became markers for where the Bike Scouts x Pizza Hut Midnight Ride Thru Delivery delivered impromptu Noche Buena feasts to the homeless.

DepEd awards Ovialand

Ovialand Inc.  was awarded by the Department of Education’s division in San Pablo, Laguna (DepEd) for contributing to the success of the department’s programs to promote quality, accessible, inclusive, and liberating basic education to students.

The award was given in recognition of Ovialand’s initiative of helping schools in San Pablo enhance the quality of their services to students. The company repaired four classrooms at Soledad Elementary School and donated four Smart TVs to San Vicente Integrated High School. 

Ovialand has previously helped schools provide a better learning and teaching environment for students and teachers alike. In Candelaria, Quezon, the company worked together with its business partner Kyushu Yaesu Inc. to build new buildings for Masin Elementary School
