A suitcase carries more than belongings—it holds stories. Now, yours can help others travel toward new opportunities.

The Travel Club launches its Trade-In for a Cause initiative March 13-16, 2025, at SM Mall of Asia, Eastwood Mall, and Estancia Mall. Customers can trade pre-loved luggage and bags for up to 40% off select travel gear.

In partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, all donated luggage will benefit overseas Filipino workers needing reliable travel companions.

Participants receive discounts ranging from 15% to 40% on featured items, while regular-priced items qualify for 10% off. The exchange operates on a one-to-one basis: one luggage equals discount on one luggage; one bag equals discount on one bag.

Traded bags (backpacks, messenger bags, duffels) can be exchanged for bag discounts or applied toward luggage purchases at a lower discount rate.

Acceptable trade-ins must be in working condition. Minor issues like missing zipper pullers or dents are permitted, but items with broken wheels, damaged zippers or cracked shells won’t be accepted. Travel Club staff will make final assessments.

How it works:

  • Bring pre-loved luggage or bags to participating stores
  • Exchange for a Sale Number Tag (SNT)
  • Use the tag for discounts on featured collections or regular-priced items
  • Complete purchase at cashier

Customers not finding suitable replacements can reclaim their items same-day or use their tag for 10% off regular-priced items later.

More than decluttering, this initiative creates meaningful impact for OFWs building a future for their families.
