Tenya, Japan’s leading tempura tendon chain, and American barbecue restaurant RACKS have opened their newest branch at 13 Leonard Wood Road, across Laperal Mansion, coinciding with the city’s Panagbenga Festival.
The restaurant, housed in a converted bed and breakfast, combines both brands’ signature dishes while planning to incorporate local ingredients into new menu items.
“Panagbenga is about bringing people together, and we’re excited to offer a space where families and friends can gather to enjoy great food,” said Managing Director Chukri Prieto III.
General Manager Iggy Ramos added, “There is so much energy during Panagbenga, and we wanted to make sure our restaurant reflects that. We hope people will make Tenya & RACKS a part of their festival tradition.“
The menu features RACKS’ baby back ribs and Tenya’s tempura tendon, with seasonal offerings planned throughout the year.
