Teleperformance Philippines (TP) wins Gold Anvil Award for Inclusive Employment Program

Teleperformance Philippines earned a Gold Anvil Award and emerged as a top finalist for the Grand Anvil Award at the 60th Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). The company’s TP Skills Training to Employment Program (TP STEP) was recognized in the Public Relations Program-Corporate Social Responsibility category, making TP the only BPO company among the top awardees.

TP STEP, launched in 2023, provides underprivileged individuals with skills training and career opportunities in the contact center industry. The program supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by focusing on marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities, individuals from underserved communities, the long-term unemployed, and former overseas Filipino workers.

The program has forged partnerships with 25 community organizations, local government units, NGOs, and TESDA training centers. Its partnership with Pasig City achieved an 88% hire rate in 2024, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness. Building on this success, TP plans to expand to Quezon City, Taguig City, Pampanga, and Davao.

Winning this award is a proud moment for all of us at TP as it affirms our commitment to creating a truly inclusive workplace and driving meaningful change in society,” said Jeffrey Johnson, Chief People Officer of TP in the Philippines. “This also reflects the dedication and shared vision of our teams and partners in empowering individuals with opportunities to transform their lives.”

Through TP STEP and its broader TP for All initiative, the company has created employment opportunities in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, supporting the government’s countryside development efforts. These programs have benefited thousands of families and generated significant indirect employment in rural areas.

Teleperformance’s commitment to workplace excellence and sustainability has earned multiple recognitions, including its seventh consecutive Great Place to Work certification in 2024, maintaining its position as the Philippines’ most consistently GPTW-certified organization.
