Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines concluded successfully last week at SMX Convention Center, bringing together government officials, business leaders, and industry experts to celebrate deepening ties between Taiwan and the Philippines. The three-day event, organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA), showcased Taiwan’s cutting-edge technologies while fostering stronger bilateral partnerships.

Representative Wallace Minn-Gan Chow of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines emphasized the Expo’s significance: “Taiwan Expo 2025 in the Philippines is more than a showcase of products—it is a vital platform for strengthening business connections, aligning policies, and deepening industrial collaboration.” He highlighted how Taiwan’s expertise in ICT, green technology, and smart manufacturing complements the Philippines’ focus on telecommunications, green energy, and agro-processing.
Director Wilson U. Tecson of Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) called the Expo “a living testament to partnership and trust,” noting how initiatives like the Taiwan–Philippines Economic Corridor have advanced from dialogue to action. “This is not just about technology—it is about resilience, progress, and ensuring a better future for our peoples,” he said.
Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President Enunina Mangio encouraged Filipino companies to maximize B2B networking opportunities: “Each effort we make together expands markets, creates opportunities, and sets the stage for even greater industrial progress.”
The successful Expo featured over 145 leading Taiwanese exhibitors across healthcare, green technology, agritech, and smart technologies pavilions, plus cultural performances and daily lucky draws with a grand prize trip to Taiwan.
Representative Chow concluded: “We hope to take Taiwan–Philippines economic ties to the next level and foster a more sustainable and forward-looking future together.”
