Turning meaningful ideas into reality through “Sharing is Caring, Taiwan Excellence”

“Sharing is Caring, Taiwan Excellence,”the first global cross-year large-scale charity event organized by Taiwan Excellence will be officially launched on September 1, under the themes “Social Concern” and “Environmental Protection,” combined with Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG).

During the international press conference on August 11, global citizens were invited to come up with creative initiatives utilizing Taiwan Excellence products and services, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing them in their home countries to specifically aid the local environment and society. The three most promising proposals from all the global entries that best embody the core idea of this activity will receive a bonus of USD 10,000 and an execution stipend of USD 150,000 per case, to execute and implement life-changing plans.

Joining the “Sharing is Caring, Taiwan Excellence” press conference were Mr. Onno Purbo, an Indonesian educational philanthropist, and Mr. Ramon Macapagal, a board of trustee member of the SM Foundation (SMFI).

Also present were Minister Tang Feng (Audrey Tang), and representatives of countries with strong diplomatic connections to Taiwan, public welfare organizations, and internet celebrities from Vietnam, Honduras, India, South Korea among others.

“Sharing is Caring, Taiwan Excellence” is sponsored by 29 of the finest and world-renowned Taiwan Excellence enterprises, globally-listed companies in Taiwan in the fields of medical care, intelligent machinery, metals, transport, information and communication technology, as well as sports and household equipment.

InLife wins awards at Insurance Asia

Insular Life (InLife) won the Domestic Life Insurer of the Year — Philippines award for the 5th consecutive year at the Singapore-based Insurance Asia Awards 2021.

The award affirms InLife’s purpose of providing a Lifetime for Good as it continues to serve Filipinos amidst the CoViD-19 pandemic by delivering on its promises to its policyholders through payment of claims and benefits and continuous servicing via digital applications.

15 startups pave the way for a digital first future

IdeaSpace announced the 15 startups that are advancing to its 2021 Acceleration Program, which aims to support early-stage startup founders in developing stable, scalable, and sustainable businesses through mentorship, funding, and networking opportunities.

The chosen startups will undergo a rigorous four-month program consisting of access to mentorship, workshops, and legal services, among others, and will receive P100,000 cash grant.

From hundreds of applicants who went through multiple rounds of judging, 15 startups stood out at the pre-acceleration phase and prevailed after pitching their business ideas to a judging panel comprised of executives from the IdeaSpace team and the MVP Group of Companies, along with selected investors and startup founders, earning them the coveted spot in the program.

Honda refund guidelines

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) has released the guidelines for the standard process flow for the refund of the provisional safeguard deposit cash bond.

HCPI processing of refund request started yesterday August 16, 2021.

For a safe and convenient process, customers may claim their safeguard deposit refund through the following steps:

Customers may download the Safeguard Refund Form online through https://bit.ly/3m4dwEr. A complete Safeguard Refund Form, along with the requirements must be submitted to dealers. These include a signed and accomplished Safeguard Refund Form;?acknowledgement / collection / provisional receipt; vehicle sales invoice; vehicle’s official receipt and one valid government-issued identification card.

Xiaomi products gain BSI Kitemark certification
