APC Group Chief Sustainability Officer Ernie Carlos detailed several key initiatives in his keynote address. Through partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions, electricity at APC factories in Bulacan and Cebu now comes from 100% renewable energy, preventing approximately 5,000MT CO2e emissions annually.

The company has advanced green logistics by deploying one fully electric tractor head with 40-footer container van for warehouse transfers and a fully electric 4-wheeler van for deliveries, in collaboration with FAST Logistics and MOBER Philippines.

APC Group is also tackling food loss and industrial waste by donating edible food waste to Scholars of Sustenance, upcycling residual food waste into animal feeds, transitioning to sustainable packaging and repurposing single-use plastics through the SariCycle® program.

“Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate philosophy. It represents our pledge to drive meaningful change through sustainable, strategic partnerships, and responsible business practices to create a future where economic growth and environmental stewardship coexist,” Carlos said.

The organization remains committed to continuous improvement, ensuring every initiative contributes to long-term positive change.
