Thousands of job seekers take a step closer to employment
On August 7, the SM Group of Companies staged its largest exclusive job fair of 2025 at SM City Fairview, welcoming over 2,000 job seekers and achieving a 12% hired-on-the-spot (HOTS) rate with 240 immediate hires.
Led by SM Retail, the event brought together top companies from the SM ecosystem—retail, logistics, and banking—offering diverse opportunities for entry-level applicants and seasoned professionals. Open positions included Accounting Assistants, Cashiers, Merchandising Managers, Pharmacy Assistants, Sales Associates, Customer Relations Representatives, and Company Nurses.
The SM Job Fair’s accessibility and convenience allows applicants to explore multiple options, submit applications, undergo interviews, and receive job offers—all in one venue. Those not immediately hired remain under consideration as HR teams continue virtual interviews with qualified candidates.
