The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) and Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on Labor Day at Pag-IBIG’s Makati headquarters to accelerate President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
SHFC President Federico Laxa and Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene Acosta formalized the partnership, which assigns SHFC responsibility for planning, developing, and implementing housing projects for low-income and informal settler families nationwide.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar called the initiative “game-changing” and pledged that funding would be managed with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
SHFC currently leads 81 4PH projects nationwide expected to deliver more than 160,000 housing units, including People’s Ville in Davao City, Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando, and a development in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

Also present at the ceremony were SHFC senior officials: Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot; Resettlement Services Group Vice President Bob Flores; Legal Affairs Group Vice President Atty. Melanie Valenciano; and 4PH Central Luzon Head Prandy Vergara. SHFC Board Member Atty. Emiliano Reyes also attended the event.#
