The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) has greenlit two new projects under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP), bringing the total number of beneficiary families to over 2,500 nationwide. These initiatives are part of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.

The recent approvals include the lot acquisition for Pagkakaisang Maralita ng Antipolo (PAMANA) Phase II Homeowners Association, Inc. in Antipolo City, Rizal, which will assist 93 families. The Msgr. Eddie L. Eleazar Village HOA in Tagkawayan, Quezon Province, was also approved, benefiting 210 families. These new projects will serve a diverse group of beneficiaries, from formal sector workers like nurses and government employees to informal sector workers such as vendors, farmers, and delivery riders.

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa underscored the importance of each approval, stating they represent “real opportunities for Filipino families to finally achieve safe, dignified, and sustainable communities.” Over the past month, 14 ECMP projects have been approved, with more expected to be rolled out as part of a directive to award lots to initial beneficiaries by October.

Other recently approved projects include those in Isabela, Rizal, Pasig City, Pampanga, Albay, Valenzuela City, Camarines Norte, and Iloilo City.

In a separate session, SHFC also approved the Makabagong San Juan Pambansang Pabahay Phase 1, a landmark 34-story vertical housing project and the tallest of its kind under the 4PH program. The development will provide homes for over 1,000 families in San Juan City and feature amenities like commercial shops, parking facilities, a swimming pool, and a basketball court.

Other vertical 4PH projects are also progressing, including People’s Ville in Davao City, where residents have already moved in, and Crystal Peak Estates in San Fernando, Pampanga, which is set for turnover.
