Security Bank honors remarkable Filipinas at the 6th Bravo Empowered Women Awards

The Zonta Club of Makati & Environs Foundation, Inc., with Security Bank’s support, honored eight outstanding Filipinas at the Bravo Empowered Women Awards held at JYD Hall, Security Bank Centre.

Now in its sixth edition, the biennial awards celebrate Filipinas whose courage, achievements, and service exemplify leadership with impact. Each honoree brings a distinct journey, united by shared purpose: to lead with integrity and serve with intent.

“With Bravo Empowered Women Awards, we honor women whose passion has delivered real results and continues to drive progress across our communities,” said Sanjiv Vohra, President and CEO of Security Bank. “Supporting women is something we’re deeply committed to at Security Bank—both in what we say and what we do. This year’s honorees are:

Larissa Palma Chavez (Arts, Culture, and Heritage) – Art advocate harnessing storytelling to inspire social change and foster children’s literacy.

Maria Mikaela “Maiki” Enriquez Oreta (Business) – Business journalist advancing youth education and entrepreneurship through media and innovative programs.

Doreen Alicia Gamboa (Culinary) – Sustainable farming champion preserving culinary heritage through natural agricultural practices.

Maryan Cabasag Diaros (Education) – Education leader advocating inclusive learning for marginalized communities.

Sittie Habiba Sarip (Media and Public Affairs) – Journalist promoting peace, education, and cultural understanding while guiding Muslim women.

Bravo Lifetime Achievement Awardee, culinary luminary Glenda Barretto of Via Mare fame

Andie Estrada (Social Services) – Social entrepreneur creating sustainable food systems and improving farmer livelihoods.

Jamie Christine Berberabe Lim (Sports) – Karate athlete inspiring the next generation through excellence and mentoring.

Dr. Emmeline Elaine “Emy” Lambengco Cua-De Los Santos (STEM) – Surgical oncologist leading breast cancer care innovations.

Glenda Barretto (Lifetime Achievement) – Pioneering founder of Via Mare, established in 1975 as one of the Philippines’ celebrated fine-dining destinations.
