SEAOIL opens  700th station

SEAOIL has opened its 700th station in the country. The newest branch is located on the northbound of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue (C5) in Pasig City.

“The opening of our 700th station is a remarkable milestone for SEAOIL. Part of our efforts to provide Alagang SEAOIL to our customers is to ensure that they can avail of our products and services with ease wherever they are in the country,” said SEAOIL CEO Glenn Yu.

The SEAOIL C5 Ugong branch is a full-service station that will soon offer a LubeSERV vehicle service center and a Lawson convenience store. More retail shops, restaurants, and personal care services are expected to open in the coming months. The station also accepts PriceLOCQ, SEAOIL’s innovative app for purchasing fuel, as a mode of payment.

20 years in service with BMW

HSAC taps UPAY

The Human Settlements Adjudication Commission (HSAC) has signed a memorandum of agreement with Union Bank of the Philippines  for a partnership that will allow HSAC to digitize the payment of fees for its services.

The signing ceremony took place last November 23 at the HSAC Office in Quezon City.

Through the agreement, HSAC will utilize UnionBank’s proprietary payment platform UPAY to help digitize the settlement of fees for those who avail of the agency’s services. This makes transactions easier and more convenient, and is a milestone in the agency’s ongoing efforts to transform digitally.

ASSIST, Cargill  bolster food security

Cargill Philippines is launching the Agri-Sagana Project in Cagayan and Isabela with the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) to capacitate farmers and cooperatives in the corn supply chain to boost agricultural yields, improve their standard of living, and contribute to the country’s food security.

The Agri-Sagana project’s purpose is to bring bountiful agricultural opportunities to corn farmers located in Cagayan and Isabela through  training and capacity development initiatives, development of an inclusive business process, and provision of infrastructure support for environmentally-sound agricultural practices.

The Agri-Sagana project seeks to empower 10 cooperatives and 8,000 corn farmers, majority of whom will be female, with the implementation of a Corn Academy and a Virtual Coop Training Hub to develop good agricultural practices, business and financial literacy among participating farmers.

The project also intends to transform existing post-harvest facilities into enhanced eco-smart post-harvest facilities, with over 500 to 1,000 farmers projected to gain from improved corn quality using sustainable and environmentally-sound drying systems.
