Rockwell’s Proscenium Theater opened September 26 with The Bodyguard The Musical by 9 Works Theatrical, running through October. Praised by critics for its stellar cast and compelling production, the show marks the beginning of an ambitious inaugural season featuring three major productions in just three to four months.
With state-of-the-art design and world-class acoustics, the Proscenium Theater provides an ideal stage for celebrating Filipino talent and artistry.

The Maestro Takes the Stage

On November 14 and 15, 2025, the theater presents its first concert—the MaestroClass Concert Series by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab. A pillar of Philippine music and longtime Rockwell collaborator, Cayabyab debuts at the new venue, launching a series where each concert promises a distinct theme and musical experience with exciting guest performers. The maestro will harness the theater’s world-class acoustics and Steinway pianos to celebrate Filipino artistry at its finest.
A Rockwell Holiday Tradition Comes Alive

This December, Rockwell and 9 Works Theatrical present the beloved musical A Christmas Carol, directed by Robbie Guevara with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and book by Mike Ockrent and Lynn Ahrens. This spectacular Broadway adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic follows Ebenezer Scrooge’s ghostly encounters on Christmas Eve, capturing themes of redemption, family, and generosity.
Running November to December 2025, A Christmas Carol marks the Proscenium Theater’s third major show, perfectly complementing Rockwell Center’s legacy of iconic tree lighting, festive décor, and cherished holiday experiences.
More than just a venue, the Proscenium Theater stands as Rockwell’s promise to keep the community inspired, entertained, and connected—season after season.
