Applications are now open for the next cohort of candidates seeking roles as nurses and certified careworkers under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA).
The Philippines’ Department of Migrant Workers, in partnership with the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services, is inviting applications to fill 50 Nurse (Kangoshi) and 300 Careworker (Kaigofukushishi) positions in Japan.
Successful candidates will undergo six months of Japanese language training, split between the Philippines and Japan, followed by three to four years of employment in Japanese hospitals and caregiving facilities. The Japanese language training is provided free of charge, and candidates will receive a daily living allowance for the duration of the training.
Candidates are encouraged to pursue Japanese licensure for Kangoshi and Kaigofukushishi, enhancing their prospects for long-term employment in Japan.
The deadline for online applications is May 10, 2024.
