Partnership delivers enhanced travel rewards and lifestyle benefits for Filipino cardholders
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) and AirAsia rewards, the loyalty program of AirAsia’s parent company Capital A, have partnered to launch the new AirAsia Platinum Credit Card, allowing Filipinos to unlock unlimited travel adventures.
The AirAsia Platinum Credit Card offers Filipino travelers elevated experiences with comprehensive perks for every journey—from airport lounging to overseas destinations and everyday lifestyle rewards at home.
“The new AirAsia Platinum Credit Card is designed to integrate travel and lifestyle benefits seamlessly. Everyday purchases made with the card earn generous AirAsia points, which are automatically credited to the cardholder’s AirAsia member account. This makes earning and redeeming points easy for flights, hotel stays, and various lifestyle rewards,” said RCBC Credit Cards President CEO Arniel Vincent B. Ong.
Accelerated Points Earning The card offers fast point accumulation: ₱28 domestic spend earns 1 AirAsia point, ₱22 overseas spend earns 1 point, and ₱25 spend on AirAsia or AirAsia MOVE app earns 2 points. New cardholders receive 15,000 welcome AirAsia points, plus 500 monthly bonus points for frequent usage. International purchases enjoy a preferential 1.85% FX conversion fee.
Premium Travel Benefits Cardholders receive automatic AirAsia Platinum membership status for the first year, providing priority check-in, boarding, and express baggage. Additional perks include complimentary PAGSS International Lounge access at NAIA Terminal 1, travel insurance coverage up to ₱5 million, and 24/7 Visa concierge services.

The AirAsia Credit Card, first introduced in 2018 with a Classic variant, now features enhanced benefits, including lower FX fees (2.50%) and monthly bonus points (300) for Classic cardholders.
