Congressional aspirant Rose Nono Lin has received the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) endorsement in her bid for Quezon City’s Fifth Legislative District. While there is no official proclamation, sources from the religious group and Lin’s camp confirmed the endorsement.
Lin expressed gratitude to the INC for supporting her mission to “raise the quality of public service for the residents of District 5, and address the problems that they have shared with us.”
“Malalim po ang pasasalamat natin sa tiwala at suporta na ibinigay sa atin ng Iglesia ni Cristo,” Lin stated. “Kasama natin sila sa pagtindig para sa mas maunlad na distrito, mas ramdam na mga programa, and tapat na paglilingkod.” (We are deeply grateful for the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s trust and support. They are our allies in standing up for a more prosperous district, better programs, and transparent public service.)
Lin noted that her Rose Lin Foundation has previously collaborated with the INC on charitable initiatives.
“Matagal na po natin silang kakampi pagdating sa paghahatid ng tulong at pag-aabot ng kalinga sa mga kababayan natin. Ngayon, tuluyan na pong mas marami pa tayong matulungan.” (We are already allies when it comes to extending help and care to others. Now, we’re sure to help even more).
