DINGALAN, AURORA – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 500 ChariTimba food packs to residents on July 17, 2025, reaching various community sectors in this scenic municipality.
Led by PCSO Director Imelda Papin and Aurora OIC-Branch Head Marites Dela Cruz, the distribution targeted senior citizens, youth groups, farmers’ associations, indigenous Domaget residents, barangay workers, and street sweepers. Each pack contained rice, canned goods, and instant noodles.
Director Papin emphasized PCSO’s commitment to reaching underserved communities across Aurora province, including Dingalan, to extend assistance to those in need.
Former Mayor Sherwin Taay and Vice Mayor Abby Galvez expressed heartfelt gratitude for PCSO’s support. “These containers will remain with us and serve as a reminder that PCSO has not abandoned us, especially during times of calamity like the typhoons that hit our beloved town of Dingalan,” Taay said.
The initiative forms part of PCSO’s mandate and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to bring inclusive government services closer to the people.
