Following President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize flood relief efforts, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) deployed quick response teams to affected Metro Manila communities on July 22, 2025.

PCSO distributed 1,000 ChariTimba care packages across two severely impacted areas: 650 packages to Barangay Sta. Lucia in Quezon City, led by Chief of Staff Jeremy Regino, and 350 to Brgy. 420 in Sampaloc, Manila—a community recently devastated by both flooding and fire.

General Manager Melquiades Robles spearheaded the Manila distribution, joined by First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos and Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.

Recipients expressed sincere appreciation for the assistance, describing it as a vital source of hope during their crisis. The initiative reinforces PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program commitment to serving communities in times of need.
