President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with GMR Group’s Business Chairman for Energy and International Airports Srinivas Bommidala and Cabinet members in New Delhi last week to discuss potential Philippine investments by the Indian conglomerate.
The President reaffirmed support for GMR Group’s Philippine ventures, particularly the Sangley Point International Airport project in Cavite, in which the company has expressed keen interest.
Also present were GMR Group executives and officials from local consortium partners Cavitex Holdings, Inc. of the Virata family and the Yuchengco’s House of Investments, both backing the Sangley airport project.
