Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC; PSE: NIKL) has been named to the Fortune 2025 Southeast Asia 500 list alongside 39 other Philippine companies.
The natural resource development company operates in resource extraction and power generation—the sector that dominated this year’s list, accounting for nearly a third of total revenue.
“We are honored to be recognized among Southeast Asia’s top performing companies,” said NAC President & CEO Martin Antonio Zamora. “NAC’s inclusion in the Fortune 2025 Southeast Asia 500 reflects our strategic focus on natural resource development, the hard work and dedication of our people, and the critical role that we play in the supply chain for clean energy.”
NAC’s recognition highlights its growing prominence in the region’s critical minerals sector, driven by global demand for nickel in clean energy technologies.
NAC is the Philippines’ largest producer of lateritic nickel ore, operating seven nickel mines. The company also holds a 10-percent stake in the Taganito HPAL project and maintains a rapidly growing clean energy portfolio through subsidiary Emerging Power Inc.
The Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranks the region’s largest firms by 2024 revenue. This year’s 500 companies generated collective revenues of USD 1.82 trillion, up from USD 1.79 trillion in 2024.
