Leading home improvement retailer MR.DIY brought fun and excitement with its Bounce and Bingo Grand Finals.
BJ Geneses Arenas and Corazon Arenas from South Luzon emerged victorious against 22 other teams from the National Capital Region, North Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, earning the coveted grand prize of P50,000 cash.
The mother-and-son tandem BJ and Corazon emerged victorious and were declared the grand winners with a record time of 45 seconds. The aunt-and-nephew duo Jovelyn and Aldren, and pals Chester and Tristan from Pampanga were declared second and third placers, respectively.
As second placers, Jovelyn and Aldren brought home P30,000, while the third placers Chester and Tristan received P20,000 cash.
As the venue filled with joy and excitement, MR.DIY’s Bounce and Bingo Challenge brought together a diverse group of participants with unique stories and aspirations, each with heartwarming plans for their prize winnings.
Grand champion BJ and his mother, Corazon, look forward to using their P50,000 prize to repair their house. It was surely a memorable birthday for second-place winner Aldren, who, along with his aunt Jovelyn, plans to take home their prize to Bacolod.
Meanwhile, third-placers Chester and Tristan plan to save their prize winnings for tuition fees for the upcoming school year.
Starting on April 17 and running until May 17, participants had the opportunity to take on the MR.DIY Bounce and Bingo Challenge, with no minimum purchase required, across 50 participating MR.DIY stores nationwide. They formed two-person teams to record the fastest time to complete horizontal, vertical, and diagonal bingo patterns on the bingo tray.
