MondelÄ“z International launches 'Trash Right' program in Parañaque with the Department of Education Division of Parañaque and advocacy groups Save Philippine Seas and The Plastic Flamingo.

MondelÄ“z International, a leading global snacking company, has signed a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Education Division of Parañaque and advocacy groups Save Philippine Seas and The Plastic Flamingo, to introduce its educational “Trash Right” program in the Philippines.

Targeting 27 public elementary schools in the city, the program aims to address plastic waste pollution by empowering students and the community to engage in effective waste management practices.

The program will commence in August 2024, at the start of the new school year.
