Meralco crews conducting relocation of poles and re-routing of its electric facilitiesalong Alabang Viaduct, SLEX, Alabang, Muntinlupa.
This project involved the retirement of five (5) poles, installation and relocation of 11 sub-transmission poles, and the re-routing of 647-meter long 115-kV line, in response to the request of San Miguel Corporation’s contractor.
This gives way for the on-going construction of the Skyway Stage 2 Extension Project, an elevated expressway from Bicutan, Taguig to Alabang, Muntinlupa which aims to extend the toll road by about 6.88 km.
Despite the heightened community quarantine measures implemented by the government due to COVID-19 pandemic, Meralco personnel and its subsidiaries are continuously working hard to ensure safe, adequate, and uninterrupted electric service to its customers, and guarantee the timely relocation of its affected electric facilities to pave the way for the speedy completion of government’s Build-Build-Build (BBB) infrastructure projects.
